Graduated highschool!

19 jun 2003 | 01:33

Well I finished high school. The Danish version anyway. It’s been fun, but the degree doesn’t mean a whole lot to me. It’s just a necessary pit stop on my way to the university.

I’ll be studying Computer Science with a good friend and colleague: Chris Benjaminsen. Hopefully it’ll be even more fun and educational then I’m expecting it to be.

In between now and then I’m planning a small one-week trip to Tokyo. I’ve always wanted experience their culture and technology, but never really got the time or money to do it. Anybody know what i've got to see ?

So there you have it. my life summarized in three paragraphs. I’ll write about web development next – I promise. Really. In the meantime you really should check out Slants [demo].

Charlotte is online

6 jun 2003 | 19:58

I just uploaded my Java webserver including source to the charlotte project page. Here is a little excerpt

Charlotte is a really simple Web Sever developed in Java. Its feature set consists of serving static files from disk, and reporting errors like ”file not found”

But appearances can be deceiving, because Charlotte can also be described as a simple http application using a Java HTTP Framework called Lone. By that definition, Charlotte is reduced to a simple demonstration of what can be accomplished with Lone.

Just thought you'd like to know.

My virtual Apartment is open

5 jun 2003 | 00:06

After some long coding hours, I finally managed to get my little slice of cyberspace up and running. I want this site to be about me and my work. It should be my personal hangout where I display my DHTML demos, write about everything, keep my photo galleries, show off my development skills and interact with my visitors. I will also maintain a weblog which i will try to update as often as possible ( although I'll properly forget all about it... ).

About the site

The site is built around a mix of xhtml 1.1, css, xslt, xml, c# and asp.net. I don't have the energy to go into all the details and explain all my design choices right now, but I promise to write a article explaining the whole enchilada

It Validates as XHTML 1.1 and css

Did i mention that it works in Mozilla, Internet Explorer 5+ and Opera 7.0 ?
